Grading and Right-of-Fashion Permits

The Metropolis's Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (The "WHITEBOOK") is ane of several manuals referenced below. Instructions

The purpose of these templates and format/instructions is not to replace the Project Submittal Requirements contained in the Metropolis's Land Development Manual. Use the standard programme sheet templates below for submitting plans for the projection type listed, including the standard language needed for the submitted structure documents.

These plan sheet templates are provided in 3 formats:

1. AutoCAD® (CAD/DWG)
2. Portable Document Format (PDF) for viewing using Adobe Acrobat Reader,
3. DXF/ASCII text.A Drawing Interchange File (DXF) is a standard ASCII text file with a file extension of DXF and specially formatted text. They are easily translated to CAD system formats or are submitted to other programs for processing directly.

LDR-Grading and Improvement Templates and Format/Instructions

These templates and format/instructions for grading and comeback plans pertain primarily to the State Evolution Review (LDR) disciplines for projects submitted to secure an engineering allow.

Unlike the procedure for standard size structure plans, prior to allow issuance, a print package of the canonical plan is required for plans to be routed to the field for inspection.

D-Sheet Grading and Improvement Plans

NOTE: Grading and Comeback Plan Format Sheets and Templates have been prepared as part of a standing try to enhance the timely completion of the review and allow procedure for grading and public improvements. Construction Cost Estimate and Bond Template

A construction cost estimate is required for Grading and/or Right-of-Style Permits. Bonding and permitting fees are required according to the City of San Diego Municipal Code Chapter 12, Commodity ix, Partitioning 01, Section 9 (§129.0119) and are based upon earthwork and improvement totals and the near current Unit of measurement Cost List.

The "BOND EST" sheet of the spreadsheet calculates the inspection fees based upon Information Bulletin DS-502.

Estimates prepared in conjunction with D-Canvass grading and/or comeback plans must exist prepared by a Ceremonious Engineer (or Landscape Architect for landscape-only D-Canvas plans) with current registration in the Country of California. An estimate prepared in conjunction with a structure plan (Form DS3179/3179B/3179C) is not required to be prepared by a registered professional person unless a registered professional person prepared the structure plan.
